Jeans for Genes children’s charity raises money to fund vital care and support for children and families affected by genetic disorders, generating money for research into the causes and cures of these conditions.

To coincide with Jeans for Genes official charity day on Friday 1st October, Leighton Denny joined other celebrity supporters, such as Amanda Holden, Amber Le Bon, Bill Wyman and Ricky Whittle to raise awareness of the charity throughout the UK media.

As an ambassador for Jeans for Genes Day, Leighton Denny is involved in helping the charity to promote the day by modelling the campaign t-shirt and running special competitions. Through running these various competitions – to win his products and a manicure with the man himself - Leighton works to generate funds and awareness of the charity. By utilizing his outlets such as QVC and his thriving Facebook page and trough general media channels, Leighton makes sure he does whatever is necessary to make sure the Jeans for Genes message is communicated to millions of people.

“Jeans for Genes is an incredible charity, raising money and awareness for children with genetic disorders. I have lost a close family member to a genetic disorder, and so generating funds for research and development is important to me. I hope that I can encourage enough people to make a small donation and raise vital funds to help children and families affected by genetic disorders.”
